PSP 5.03 Gen-A Installation Error on PSP 3000

As the title states, I have a PSP 3000 that will not install 5.03 Gen-A.

It goes like this:

1. I run ChickHEN R-2
2. I launch the Installation that came with the "LAUNCH ME.exe" in the 5.03 Gen-A package.
3. It boots up to the screen where it says "Flash by using L/R, O to reboot".
4. I press R, then O.
5. While it is Rebooting, it just shuts off, without turning on.

This is getting really annoying, as I bought the PSP 3000 knowing I would be able to run ISO/CSO games on it. I have a hacked 1000 and have hacked 2000.. This is just a pain. I would uninstall and reinstall, but I'm afraid something will brick, or I won't uninstall everything.

use cfw enabler to uninstall
then try to flash gen-a again

I tried to run CFW Enabler, but it just said "Error writing file" or whatever like 10 times in a row, when trying to install it.

Edit: It says no CFW installed so.. I guess the 5.03 Gen-A Never really installed.

Woah, I got an unexptected solution. I improvised on the instructions for Chickhen, and it turns out, it was originally saying 5.03 Chickhen, now it says 5.03 Chickhen R2... Hm. And now everything installs fine.
