Hey! Right now a friend sent me via email the firmware 2.0 file. Everything seems to be normal and right, i have an EBOOT.PBP file. The question is if i can make the update progress but this time with the firmware 2.0, does that really will downgrade my PSP to 2.0? I'am full of insecurity and i don't know what to do, please tell me, i think that an update progress, but this time with that file will be fine, don't you think? I need an expert to tell me.

By the way, my firmware is 3.50.

No, the Sony firmware won't let you simply install a lower firmware, that's why we rely on downgraders to trick the PSP into letting us install 1.5.
I thought you were on firmware 2.81! What happened? If you're above 3.03 you're probably gonna be stuck with Sony firmware for a looooong time...
 
I told you how to upgrade to 3.03 yesterday, why did you update to 3.50? :/

Well.. simply put, you can't downgrade now.

OH man ! ! ! ! What i've done ! ! ! ! Sure there's no way to downgrade from a firmware 3.50? I commit the stupidity of the century, i upgrade to 3.50 because I thought that there's no problem with that, and now i never will downgrade my PSP whaaaaa!!!!! :-( :crying: I can believe that i never gonna to downgrade my PSP......................my dreams are broken now. If i knew that i must not to upgrade to 3.50 i never do that (sorry my bad english)

Krelian, why you said that i'm gonna be a looooooooong time with this 3.50? I'm seeing now that the last release of Dark_Alex is the 3.40 OE, that is a very long distance? I don't understand, please explain to me.
 
Although there may be an OE edition of 3.40 or even 3.50 on the horizon, there's still no way to downgrade from any official FW higher than 3.03. Decrypting and converting the FW to an OE is alot different than an exploit in it. Sorry man, but you're f@cked. Also, watch your double-postin', man.
