So, my psp is 3.52 OFW on it, and sadly, it happened on accident. So this news of the pandora battery got my hopes up. cept i have no way of making hte battery to downgrade my own psp.

but a buddy of mine has a psp with 3.40 OFW on it. isnt this able to be downgraded, or upgraded to 3.50 and then downgraded then flashed with a CFW?

so i can make the magic battery and downgrade my own psp and so on and so fourth. could someone help me out with links to detailed step by step instructions or something along that lines? i cant seem to find anything good to go by. also keep in mind we are both newbs in this.

Yes, you are very much on the right track. The steps to get YOUR PSP running a CFW would be as follows:

1. Update your friend's PSP to 3.50. JUST 3.50, if you go any higher you WILL NOT be able to downgrade.
2. Downgrade your friend's PSP using THIS guide. You'll need a copy of Lumines to do so.
3. Update your friend's PSP to 3.52M33 using THIS guide.
4. You'll need to create a Pandora's Battery and magic memstick, using your friend's PSP and THIS guide, or there's also an easy Pandora Battery creator, from XsavioR, titled Pandora's Box, located HERE.
5. After creating a Pandora's Battery/magic memstick, you can downgrade your PSP using these steps, from one of the guides above:
1. With a working PSP or memory stick reader, copy the firmware 1.50 update file into the root of the "magic" memory stick, named UPDATE.PBP
2. Insert the "magic" memory stick.
3. Insert the unbricker battery. Your wifi, memory stick, and power lights should all turn on temporarily, and a menu should appear.
4. Press X. After it checks the update file, you should get another menu.
5. Press X to write Firmware 1.50 onto the PSP.
6. You are now running a version of 1.50 firmware, from here you can use the same guide above to install 3.52M33.
7. After it's all done, you can convert your battery back to normal using the guide HERE.

Have fun.:thumbup1:
