Speaking in a recent conference call, Activision Publishing CEO Mike Griffith revealed that the company plans to release two map packs for Modern Warfare 2. No more, no less. We plan to launch two separate map packs for this title. Thus far, developer Treyarch has rolled out three map packs for Call of Duty: World at War. [...]

oh come on! we need more!!!

The 1 map pack they released for MW1 was good enough for me.
If they can release 2 quality map packs I will be happy, as long as the game ships with quite a few.

Games generally only have a handful of truly popular, quality maps. I see this as a good sign that Infinity Ward are not just out to cash in on people wanting more content by churning out mediocre maps.

What? Broadcast was my favorite map from the map pack.
My least favorite was Kill house, only because I didn't really play it.

Broadcast > China town> Creek> Kill house

I threw that in there cause I knew somebody would like it. My problem was that it was too big. Out of that pack I liked kill house and broadcast (when there's enough people), but Chinatown and the creek were my least favorites in the entire game.

They'd better be fucking free on the PC. Charging for DLC on the PC is an unspeakable crime.

The bastards even tried to charge for the MW1 1.6 update + Map Pack. A freaking UPDATE. Those who didn't pay for it WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO PLAY ONLINE ANYMORE. Thankfully nVidia came to the rescue and sponsored it for all PC users.

Yeah, sheesh Torch, take it easy...

I was happy with Modern Warfare 1's maps that shipped with the game, and the map pack that was released was pretty good too, I really love Creek and Broadcast is pretty sweet too. No complaints here.

I despised Chinatown. My favorite were Broadcast and Creek. I also hope that they don't disable noobtubing (like 15 sec. delay like in WaW). My friends and I get used to "owning" other teams by noobtubing, yes 'cause we're "noobs".

As long as they have a secondary game mode that will top the Zombie Mode in WaW then i'm going to buy it (providing that it is $9.99 or preferably lower)
