I'm now finnished with nook but I can't get my friend code established. I have a LINUX router and WPA TKIP or something encryption

Yeah, DS only supports no encryption or WPA. WPA isn't supported unfortunately, so you'll have to change your router settings to go online.

You mean, no encription or WEP

though, the DSi supports all the others

We have a protected network but I don't get why I can use the internet browser on my DSi but not establish a Friend Code with Animal Crossing @_@

do you have the original game or a copy?

and you have to transfer the ID from the DS to the DSi to make it work, I think.

then like I said, you might have to transfer the settings and ID from one to another, check the game's manual on how to do that
