Following a string of rumors and speculation last week, publisher EA has formally unveiled Army of Two: The 40th Day. The sequel, which is being handled by EA Montreal, sees the return of mercenary agents Salem and Rios.
Set in the fictional warzone of Shanghai, China, Salem and Rios find themselves thrust in a city under siege. Players will need to put their heads together and use teamwork to survive in hopes of uncovering the secret of the 40th Day. Though no specific details were divulged, the sequel is said to sport a more diverse array of co-op moves and abilities, allowing for new strategies and choices.
Army Of Two: The 40th Day is scheduled for a winter release on Xbox 360, PS3 and (surprise!) PSP.
