Hi Guys,
Here is my application entry for the Neoflash coding competition.
Since there are no other entries yet, it looks like I'm first so far.

Description:
AVEC V1 GPS Vector Map Viewer for PSP (1.50 Kernel Version)

AVEC is a Vector map viewer capable of displaying and navigating mapss
in the common Polish format maps.
This 1.50 kernel version can also receive location from a GPS device and
display your location on the map.
If the map file has street information, the program tells you what street
you are in, or lookup the name of a street selected with the crosshair.

I aim to release a new kernel version for all firmwares shortly without GPS functionality.
I currently don't have GPS serial comms working outside
of 1.50 kernel mode.

I don't know how applicable this might be, but the US Census Bureau has free data that can be used for a basemap. Not sure if it would be something you would be interested in applying to this.

I have posted the version for newer firmwares on various other forums.
It has GPS functionality disabled, I haven't got serial working in new kernels yet.

I should try to chase down USB GPS sample code too.

I'm not the only entry, just the only PSP app entry.
My chances might be slim if there are a lot of NDS users who vote.
They do have a few NDS entries in there.
