Hi people

I was here and generally up-to-date with the PSP scene for quite a while before i lost touch couldnt keep myself updated with all the developments that were going on.

I have a PSP 3k with OFW 5.02 and i remeber during that time Davee had developed ChickHen R2. After this a couple of firmwares showed up. one was the GEN and the other that used M33 modules.

Well i am back now and m going to put CFW on my PSP. Can someone update me (in-short) with some useful developments? the main things i wish to know are -

1. as of now what are the latest CFW versions available and what are the pros and cons of both the FWs.

2. any other CFW released that works with chickhen + psp 3k ?

3. the appropriate guide to backing up my UMD's

4. the appropriate guide to playing my backed up UMDs

5. the guide to play my PS1 games (corresponding to whatever CFW u guys guggest)

6. to enable Multi-tasking on the PSP (IRShell or whatever)

also can someone point me to the official sites of the devs of both the CFWs?

first download chickhen r2 from davees official site or pspslimhacks.com

gen cfw has no new updates so use cfw enabler 3.60 the latest one

And about mulitasking do not do it it uses irshell
then u have to flash some files of irshell and your psp might get bricked
if u dont know how to do it do not try it or if u have a useful reason to do it
If i were u i would not use irshell

another quick question - can both the CFW's be uninstalled?? also is it possible to switch from one to another???
