best custom firmware

What is the best custom firmware? Because i'm trying to decide which one to get now that I have a 3.03 psp ready for downgrading. Pick which one is best and post which version (e.g oe-a/b/c) and give your reasons below. if you have another say which one it is.

I respect 3.10 OE but I prefer to stick with 3.03 OE-C for now, as it does all that I need it to, plays home made PSX4PSP games also, but, my favorite, it's theme customizable! :D
When 3.10 OE has the option of changing themes, I will most likely upgrade to it.

I use 3.10 OE-A' because it has the 3.10 pops built in. I can play ALL the PSX games I like without having to mess with pops loader. I also don't customize the XMB, so it makes no difference to me that you can't change the top menu icons in 3.10. Then add the fact that 3.10 OE has the latest patches to video playback and fixes to ISO playing and you see that 3.10 OE is the way to go unless you NEED to customize the XMB for some reason.

I am using 3.10 OE and am happy with it :-D

Joined the community after it was released so I dont have any experience with the other firmwares, but have had no problems with 3.10OE...

Dark Alex, I know you hear this all the time but once again, Thanks!!!!8-)

is there some kind of tutorial on how to change the themes

Not that I know of. I find it easy, but I'm a somewhat experienced resource hacker. One Note: Themes are NOT for newbies! If something goes wrong when messing with the XMB resource files, you can semi-brick--or in 1.50, perma-brick--your PSP! If you're going to mess with it, I suggest backing up your original resource folder in its entirety before you start. It can be hard to remember which files you modified. If your system goes SNAFU after a change, just hold R to boot in recovery, mount Flash0, and reflash the default file(s). Also, in 3.10OE-A('), as most people know by now, you cannot flash a modified topmenu. I have also discovered that flashing a modified .rco for the OSK plugin (O.n S.creen K.eyboard) will break the plugin in 3.10OE-A. I wanted to replace the sound of inputing and deleting text.

Thank you all for helping. I'll think I'll go for 3.10oe. I might move to 3.03oe if I ever feel that I want too customize the XMB but for now I'll stick with 3.1. :-D

well, currently i am running 3.10 OE-A' but im really thinking of downgrading back to 3.03 OE-C becuase of the topmenu_plugin customisation.
