Billy Mays Dead at 50

That's wasn't really what I was getting at. You said he ripped of Mays' act, but other then having the same occupation they don't really have much in common. Vince markets only two items, (correct me if I'm wrong on that) he looks like he's on meth, and he can't tell the difference between a strawberry and a mango, yet people still know who he is and and for the most part they remember what he says.

Mays marketed god knows how many products, but people only remember two of them and they remember that he yells.
Not exactly what I would call ripping somebody off.

As pointed out just about two posts ago the Shamwow guys stole almost everything from the original Zorbees commerical (the acts performed). Also the only two products that Vince sells are direct copies of successful products Mays sold already. Shamwow only interested me because I didn't see it before (shammies that is) and was pretty skeptical of it. The only reason the commercials Vince did were successful in my opinion were because they were good products. The last episode of Pitchmen discusses this very issue (Shamwow that is)

Hm, I skipped that one. Guess I have a reason to watch it. Did they ever go over Billy's relationship with the Shamwow guy? As far as I know they were rivals, but didn't dislike each other.

They never really touched on what Billy thought of Vance, they just focused on the Shamwow stealing his spotlight/product

I guess I'm wrong.

I never seen the zorbees commercial (or even heard of a zorbee) so I didn't know.

Mr T will always be king of infomercials in my book.

Billy Mays is second. But may he yell in peace. Amen.
