Blu-ray BD+ Copy Protection Defeated

SlySoft, creators of the AnyDVD and CloneDVD software, have cracked the latest Blu-ray BD+ copy protection, despite claims which suggested that the protection would remain unbreached for at least ten years.

According to SlySoft CEO Giancarlo Bettini, a commercial software suite for copying Blu-ray discs will be available at the end of this year.

They just say that so the movie people are happy.... If it was just one format they wouldnt have to do do squat basically and theyd be just as good doesnt really matter though whos gonna rip bluray movies at 25-50 gigs a movie unless they wanted to watch them on hd dvd which would be stupid since if they could afford a bluray drive they should be able to afford a player but either way kinda usless right now, cept for piracy... :glare:
