In the latest developer diary for Brink, Bethesda Softworks' Sci-Fi First-Person Shooter, the game-changing and game defining S.M.A.R.T system is revealed. S.M.A.R.T, which stands for smooth movement across random terrain allows the player to traverse across the game's environment in an entirely new way with parkour-inspired moves and actions within game.

The S.M.A.R.T system is activated when the player holds down a particular button on the controller which will, in turn, allow the player to move across, over, or under the object in a way that resembles the movement of free running, much like Mirrors Edge[...]

I can't wait for this game. I haven't seen anything I don't like about it yet.

I never paid much attention to this game until I saw this video. To me the S.M.A.R.T system is just a fancy way of jumping (think about it) but it looks like a solid FPS nonetheless
