Microsoft has kicked off a new Xbox 360 promotion in which current paid Live subscribers using an original Xbox console can purchase any Xbox 360 console through December 21, and get a free copy of Halo 3 along with their purchase. Offer is open to US residents only and full details can be found below.[blockquote2]Here's How to Get Your Halo 3 Game

* Buy an Xbox 360 console between November 21 and December 21, 2007.
* Convert your current paid Xbox LIVE account to an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription.
* Register here between November 21 and December 21, 2007 with promotional code XBX7777, with your new console serial number, and a valid mailing address.
* Look for your copy of Halo 3 in your mailbox![/blockquote2]

Update: Microsoft has revised the official rules for this promotion. The rules now state that you must be a "current paid Xbox LIVE member using an original Xbox console" in order to be eligible.

Has to be a 360 console purchased from November 21 to December 21. And that November date wasn't on the site when I posted this... looks like they changed the rules, lol.

Also... you now need to be a original Xbox owner with a current paid Live subscription. :|
