Multi Call of Duty: Black Ops

I actually put in about 90 minutes playing FFA last night for the first time ever and found the players there dreadful. I came in top 2 for every match. There were SO many people camping.

It reminded me of when I would run around with a silenced P90 and Dead Silence on Bloc in CoD4.
 
Is it just me or do the players in this game seem a lot worse than MW2? Or is it the lack of people using so many gay things as they did in that game? (serious question)
 
It really all depends on your teamates for me. When I'm playing with close to a full party, I rarely lose. If I'm solo in a team game, I've been steamrolled.
 
This game is pushing my PS3 for another YLOD - I'm freezing and crashing loads. If my FOURTH PS3 breaks, I'm suing or something.

It's because this game takes more skill since the guns do less damage.

Thought I'd get my own brutal headshot with the ballistic knife. Also I don't know why my uploads are so crappy...

Also the only gun I've found so far to be overpowered is the Scorpion. A few times I've been playing Gun Game or multiplayer in general, it's proven to be more 'efficient' (if that makes sense) than the AUG.
 
I can't wait till my video card comes back in the mail so I can play this again. Played it at my friends house last night and I miss it so much :(.

No it died before it came out and I had to RMA it so I'm waiting for it to come back :(.

This game actually requires some skill.

Which is why I hate playing solo. I just lose about every time because my team is all low rank/ or they just suck.
But when I play with a party, I rarely lose.

I just been playing TDM too which is odd because in MW2. I would play nothing but HC SnD. I haven't even played a match of SnD yet, I need too. I love that game mode.

I've only seen one so far.

I don't plan to prestige at all. After prestiging twice in MW2 (once unwillingly because of a hacked server) later on I just felt like fireing up the game and playing a few rounds and I didn't have half my stuff.

The maps are massive and have many points of approach, rendering most cheap tactics useless. The actualy gameplay is improved quite a bit from MW2.

There isn't any party system or any way to join a server together on the PC. It doesn't integrate with Steam like MW2 does. Another example of how this game is inferior to MW2 quality wise.

Integrated party support, which makes it not inferior to MW2 quality wise.
 
I played it on 360 and it's shit. WTF? It's like Street Fighter for iPhone. Unless you rarely play multiplayer without keyboard/mouse I dunno how anyone can tolerate it. I only play the exclusives on consoles.

IWNet's party system was absolute shit though. Organizing a party of five was incredibly painful; one person would always be inexplicably unable to join. When we finally managed to get past that, failing to join a lobby or a bad host migration broke apart the entire party.

Now it's simply join a server I'm on. It may not be as integrated with steam as MW2 was, but at least we spend more time playing the damn game then getting the parties in order.

Parties worked fine on PSN, and I assume the same on Live, but IWNet was so half-assed to turn the PC into a console platform, it never worked. Was a pity, as having a listen server system that actually worked would be nice in conjunction with dedicated server.
 
I actually want the lobby system back now. The closest dedicated servers are in Australia and Japan with 160ms latency! I almost always was the host in MW2 since I have 1Mbps upstream.
