Activision and developer Treyarch are expanding World War II shooter Call of Duty: World At War once more with additional downloadable content. Slated for an August debut on PSN and XBLM, the third map pack ushers in three multiplayer maps - Battery, Revolution, and Breach. A fourth locale, Der Riese, is due for inclusion as well, specific to the game's frantic Zombie mode. No word on a PC release, however, considering the previous map pack made its way to the platform through a freely available patch, not all hope is lost.
With Modern Warfare 2 now less than a few months away, this may be the final map pack for World At War. Although, at the rate Treyarch has been churning these out, a fourth is a possibility, albeit an unlikely one.
Screenshots of three of the aforementioned multiplayer maps can be found past the break.
