Can I convert my Popstation saves to PC Emu useable format?

Ok I am playing a multi disc game through Popstation and I need to convert the save game so I can continue the game via a PC emulator and after saving the game, after going to disc two put the save game back on my PSP to continue on disc two. I can't figure out how to do this. The save folder on the PSP contains the Config.bin (8kb), Memcard1.dat (128kb), Memcard2.dat (128kb) and Param.sfo (4.79kb) files. I assume the Memcard1.dat is where my save game information is as that is the "card" I have my saves on under popstation. How can I convert the Popstation save into a PC or PSX useable format? I have a dex drive on it's way I got off ebay.

CWCheat for POPS has epsxe Memcard support. instructions for using the feature are in its readme. One word of warning, though, it doesn't magically work, you have to manually save it. (Save the game...well...in the game itself, then save the memcard as Epsxe format in the CWCheat menu.)

Inconvenient for any other use than the multi-disc problem. ;)

I've read that as long as you use the same info as the first disc when converting to e-boot for the second, ie slus 01234, as an example, the game should continue.Haven't tried it myself yet,but I'm playing disc 1 galerians so will be.I'll post the result.

That's only with games that have you save prior to a disc change. I'm playing Lunar Eternal Blue and it asks for a disc change prior to saving so you can't boot up the second disc because it recognizes your save as a disc one save and tells your to insert disc one. I was hoping I could easily transfer the save to my PC or PSX Memory card play the game over to disc two then save and copy the new save back. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be the case.

You overlooked my post above, just below your first post. It's definitely possible.

Sorry wasn't thinking I realize what your saying now. CwCheat will save the Memcard Dat file to a epsxe format. Does CWCheat work with 3.10 OE? This will be alittle scary for me as I have never done any prx files just basic OE installs. I will read up on it more later on break from work now so I can't.

Thanks,

Yup, it works on 3.10 OE, and you cannot possibly permabrick your PSP using plugins. just place the plugin files in the seplugins folder on the root of your memory stick, put the path to the plugin in the related text file (ms0:/seplugins/cwcheatpops.prx in this case), reboot your PSP into recovery mode (Hold R as you switch the unit on), go to plugins, and enable the plugin.

Word of warning: Too many total plugins in pops.txt, game.txt, and vsh.txt will cause recovery mode to freeze or only list a few of the plugins. If this happens, simply remove some plugins from the text files. until it doesn't.

well, if it works for 3.10oe
i can safely assume that it will work for 3.03oe-c which i have.

and where can i find the proper link to it, i went to the cwcheat site, and they have many different versions of it.. any advice?
