Cant get HEN to launch on PSP PHAT

its just as the tile says. all it does is freeze up on me. i have the tiff image in the photo folder along with 4 other pics. (i tried with the 4 other pics also) im on 5.03 and i just cant see why i cant get it to work!

your PSP is is a PHAT version? So, your PSP is downgradable? So what's the reason why do you want to run this ChickHEN?
 
Davee has a PSP-3003 so maybe they haven't made it compatable with PHAT psp's yet. Admin Edit: No..it works on all PSPs

Also i agree with romantic24 why would you want to run it if you have a homebrew working PSP?
 
I also have a Phat and can't get it to work either. :) It just crashes it, sometimes it freezes before the thumbnail has loaded and sometimes I have to click on the TIFF before it crashes. But whatever I try, nothing works.

Also he may have several reasons for needing this HEN. We cannot downgrade without the HEN because we cannot create a pandoras battery without homebrew (don't want to try the hardmod).
 
mhm seems as unstable as the helloworld lol
i think linux is being a bit naughty by copying 0byte files to my psp tho >_<
 
Just got it to run. Tried all sorts of things, but eventually just put the image on its own in the PHOTO folder (did it at the start but didn't get it to work). After turning it back on lots of times and clicking on photo it just worked. So yay! :)

BTW aaa linux used to do that to me too. :D

YAY it worked!! i tried what you did and it worked after 3 goes!
 
HI....I have a unhackable psp slim and all i get is a black screen and then after 5 secs my psp turns off. i think i have 9 jpgs +slimtiff image. thanx and sry for my english
 
do you have the NEW h.bin file on the root of the mem stick?

Do you have 5.03 OFW?

EXACTLY MAN. im trying to make a Pandora so i can install CFW. well ill keep on trying it maybe it will work eventually. u have to click on the image for the PHAT? ty for all the repliees

I think it's best to wait for the official patch... if nothing else works...
and i can't figure out what you are trying to say or ask...maybe its because of my bad english or...?

On my PHAT I have no other pics in with the eggsploit.tiff, and it should work by just opening the photo folder without clicking the image.

Well, what im asking. Is if we need the Hello World tiff instead of the ChickHEN tiff.

as far as i know no...but i wanted to try the hello world thing out just to see if it works.
