Cant get HEN to launch on PSP PHAT

AFAIK It's the same laughing-man-1.tiff, just renamed and recoded...the eggsploit.tiff exploits the 32mb of ram in the 1000 series, and the slim.tiff exploits the 64mb ram in the 2000/3000.

You will need some extra images in the folder along with the slim.tiff, I think they act as a sort of buffer because the psp loads the thumbnails so fast with the 64mb ram; this isn't necessary with the Phat because it's so slow with just 32mb...
 
it still wont work for me on the phat. i tried at least 30 times and it still wont work. ive been going to photo and then clicking on the image. sometimes if i jeep pressing X really fast it will freeze before i get to press the image. all it does is crash though.
 
Maybe it's the Memorystick? What kind are you using? Is MagicGate supported? (press triangle on ms icon, click information) I wonder if it makes a difference... Mine's a Lexar 4Gb one.
 
hm i cant start it too. but the weird thing is that it "works" on my 5.00m33-6. I've got the red screen and hen_error.txt on ms, but it just wont work in 5.03. I see only messed preview or psp hangs.
 
I know it probably sounds lame, but just keep at it. It will work eventually. I don't know if it makes a difference to the PSP, but I removed the UMD (I don't know if loading the content of the UMD has anything to do with it) but it seems like there is more success without it. :)

Also if it loads the small image (thumbnail) of the tiff, then it isn't going to work that time. For me it only worked when it froze while trying to load the thumbnail, and not the whole image. If you have to click on the image then from my experience it won't work that time.

Oh and make sure the h.bin is in the root of the memory stick, I know it's stupid but when I formatted the memory stick (for other reasons) I forgot to replace the h.bin! :D
 
argh this is so frusterating i can get my slim going no prob but i get get hen on my phat to run its just a garbled image and i really want cfw!!!
