With the impending emergence of a larger E3, some publishers have decided to cut back on their once-annual Gamer Day media events, but not Capcom. CAPTIVATE09 is on and it's taking place in Monte Carlo.
Open to industry professionals only, the event kicks off on April 21 and will run through the 23rd. All of Capcom's big-hitters are poised to make an appearance in one way shape or form, including Dead Rising 2, Lost Planet 2, Dark Void, and Resident Evil The Darkside Chronicles.
Also, brace yourself for surprises, as Capcom promises that "new games" will be announced at the summit. Yes, that's plural. Although all the fun concludes on the 23rd, be prepared to wait a little longer for official word on all the juicy announcements, as information stemming from the event must be withheld until the 29th due to embargo restrictions.
