Chance of losing CFW?

Hey everyone. Just wondering that if I was to put the latest Official Firmware on my PSP, would I lose the abilities I had with custom firmware? I currently have 4.01 m-33.

Reason I ask is I want to play the Peace Walker demo, but firmware 6.00 is needed. Or is there a CFW 6.00 or equivalent?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but can someone point me in the right direction?

there is 5.50 gen-a, if thats what your talking about. I havent tried it yet but i think its still pandorable after you upgrade it. Sony doesnt seem to learn. What version of psp do you have?
 
Nope, the latest CFW is 5.55gen IIRC but the latest M33 cfw is 5.00

You will lose all the benefits of CFW if you install OFW but if you make a pandora set beforehand, you can go back to CFW :D

If you want both, check out this tut I made a few days ago (I'm currently using this setup on my Phat): Dual-boot 5.00 M33-4 and OFW
