In a recent Halo Bulletin 343 Industries detailed a new weapon tuning patch for Halo 4. The balance patch has been created in order to address the over-reliance on the DMR in competitive matches. The patch will mostly strengthen all other weapons aside from the DMR - making it slightly more attractive to start trying out other weapons than the overused weapon.
The patch will go live on June 3rd, so if you've been waiting for a reason to get back into Halo 4, now might be the time. You can check out a full list of all the weapon changes after the break.
