Nintendo of Europe announced today that Wii owners will be able to download Commodore 64 classics from the Virtual Console service later this year. Released back in 1982, the Commodore 64 is an 8-bit home computer system.
Available at 500 Wii Points each, the initial C64 lineup will consist of old-school classics like International Karate and Uridium. The games are expected to be available "soon" on the European Wii Virtual Console. No word on when C64 offerings will make their way to North America or Japan.
