Confused about GEN and CFWe

so I have a 3000, and dont know too much about the recent breakthroughs in the psps. Well i have checkhenr2 and now want to install either the gen or cfwe and dont exactly know which one is better. I definately do not want to birkc my psp lol...thanks!

I personally like GEN better because i don't have to go hunting/make he POPs files and also I can access recovery menu (and enable plugins)from the VSH menu (press select) instead of having to go into the installer and into a settings menu. I also don't see any good point point for CFWe except for online CFWe update.
But if you have issues with GEN, try using CFWe as some people have better compatibilty with CFWe than GEN (I don't know why and i didn't face any issues with my 3k and GEN)

i also got this question about the 2 CFWe

i've read here that the GEN-A doesn't need POPS since it's already build in and the CFWe you need to setup it first or flash it.

so in GEN-A you don't need the popsloader plugins on the seplugins folder? and i can just hold "R" and the list of pops will be displyed? is that what it ment on GEN-A has build in pops support?

Haven't tried using different pops revisions. It's probably just flashed the one from 5.00 OFW. And yes, GEN has a built in POPS while in CFWE it needs to be flashed

Also, a quick question. If i use CFWe just to fake the version (through settings menu) and then turn turn back to GEN, will the inputted version still be faked?

im using cfwe just incase u guys are wondering and man everything went sooo smooth! I had god of war running with in minutes, i guess for now ill just stick with what i have now..thanks for ur input guys and thanks for all devs exp davee
