Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Dated in Japan

Square-Enix has revealed in the latest issue of Japan's Shounen Jump Magazine that PSP title Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII will be making its way to the land of the Rising Sun August 2nd.

As a prequel to original PS1 title Final Fantasy VII, Crisis Core will focus on the role Soldier and Sephiroth played in Project Genesis. No word on a US release date yet.

dont think tifa will be playable, not even sure about cloud.

but hey you can play as the guy cloud was pretending to be for most of ffvii, thats gotta be close to the same thing =P

I am sure it will still be a very solid game =D

This game looks awesome, I know I'm pumped... A FFVII action game that DOESN'T suck, hopefully :-D

You play Zack , A soldier , Clouds friend.. Zack is in the movie saving clouds ass left and right Shinsen subs I think it was called .. Well , Watch the movie and you will have a better understanding for zack..

no i believe it was a short OVA called FF7:Last Order ...it was included in the special edition of FF7:Advent Children as a bonus feature....youtube for it,its really worth it
