Multi Criterion Now in Charge of the Entire Need for Speed Series

Fans of the Need for Speed series got pretty stoked when EA announced Need for Speed: Most Wanted at this year's E3. To further add to that excitement, it was revealed that Criterion Games was in charge of the upcoming title's development. In a recent statement to GameInformer, Criterion Vice President Alex Ward announced that the studio would be overseeing development of every Need for Speed game moving forward.

While the VP didn't iterate if Criterion itself would develop every new title in the series, the fact that the studio will have a major say in the franchise is certainly huge news.
