DA Retirement Spells End To Play New Games and Homebrew?

i was recently browsing the net and all the porducers of games are raving on about how the the firmware for the psp will allow it to play 333mHz and with the recent news of DA's retirement from the scene. I was thinking I will never be able to play those games.

I posting this for two reasons:
I want to know if I got all my facts straight if not point them out.
And If anyone will try to take over for DA to make more custom firmware.

Ok didn't know that but could you play for instance on Custom firmware 3.40 play a game that requires 3.50 official firmware??

Probably not; but D_A isn't the only one who can make a custom firmware or devise a way to play games with a higher firmware.
