Strmnnrmn has updated his blog with details of his improvement plans for the next build of N64 emulator Daedalus. Some of the improvements he highlights include eliminating loops and use of the Media Engine which should bring a speed-up along with various bug fixes such as working Expansion Pak support for improved compatibility. Sweet man, I cant wait and with the expasion thing fixed...maybe I can play Goldeneye!!!

Goldeneye didn't use the expansion pak for the n64...use of the ME is a good idea though,it definately helped snes9xTYL ....although to be honest,i'd rather have a perfect SNES emulator than a good n64 emulator...

i have a n64 with all the games i want to play at the house :D

the SNES though i don't.lol.

but still, have to say that its quite an achievement to get a good n64 emulator up and running on a psp, especially since i've seen the psp struggle with SNES and Megadrive emulators

....i forget what my point was.haha...ah well....anyways,yea,looks good :)

Dude when ever I tryed to play Goldeneye, It always brought me back to the start menu of the emulator, making me think it needs an expansion.

nope,it definately did not.Goldeneye was released before Nintendo even released the expansion pak for the n64

heres a link to a wiki page with the list of expansion pak needed games

the only two games that needed the expansion pak were Donkey Kong 64 and Zelda: Majora's Mask...after that there were only two games that needed it for major features, Perfect Dark and Starcraft 64.....all the rest provided minor graphical improvements.

if Goldeneye wasn't launching, then i'd think thats a glitch of the emulator and not it needing an expansion pak.

Dont no..All I dont is when this new verison comes out..Im going to see what happens :)
