Darksiders: Wrath of War Extended Demo Coming

I don't think it's that close to God of War gameplay wise. It's more like Zelda than anything else.
 
People keep trying to compare it to Zelda but I don't know...when I look at it all I see is God of War, not that that's a bad thing I just don't see how it compares to Zelda at all. I want to try the game really bad though but don't want to spend the money on it in case I don't like it so I'd love a demo.

I think Abe is referring to the large dungeon crawling aspect that isn't really present in God of War.

Maybe but it depends on what you find boring of Zelda games. If you find the tedious sidequests of Zelda games boring then you will probably like Darksiders since it has very little of that. Darksiders just has the same dungeon style of Zelda games where you go to a dungeon find a new weapon and you use that weapon to solve the dungeon's puzzle then fight a boss at the end. Darksiders is very straightforward which is what I love about it.
 
I was very interested in this game before its release, then decided to skip it due to being very poor, but I probably would have bought it had a demo been released and had been good, but seeing as a demo is out well after the games release, I'll wait until it hits bargain.
 
I've read comments here that make me want to play this game, others that make me want to skip it. I'll probably also wait for bargain since I'm focused on DAO: Awakening, FFXIII and Star Ocean 4 PS3
