It's neat, just not sure how practical it is. There's a reason why Sony hasn't implemented something like this themselves. I only see it being useful in a handful of titles, like Loco Roco or Super Monkey Ball.

For racing titles I don't think it will work well at all due to the lack of control over precise movements. Imagine the frustration of trying to play a fast-paced, twitch heavy game like WipEout with this.
 
Being not endorsed by SCE is not going to help longevity either really....There is a market for it but i think it is limited.

Still that said, nice idea and good for a laugh :p
