In an industry filled with delays and cancellations, seeing a game's release date actually being moved up is far from the norm, but it is the case with Electronic Arts upcoming futuristic survival-horror romp Dead Space. In a statement sent out today, the publisher confirmed that the title will hit North American store shelves on October 14, a full week earlier than previously expected.
