PS3 does the slim come out sep 1st or aug 25????

well Ive been calling tons of stores. gamestop says September 1st, best buy says Aug 25 and the rest are all retarded. gamestop.com says Aug 25 and sears.com say Sep 1st. which one is it!!!!!! i need to know because i am planning to get get one tomorrow (Aug 25)

I know this doesn't help you directly, but according to my local GAME, it comes out September 1st in the UK.

It ships the 25th but I'm pretty sure goes on sale the 1st.

It has a staggered release date. If retailers have stock to ship on the 25th, it will ship on the 25th.

If the stock arrived on the 28th, it will ship on the 28th.

If you want it on the 26th, buy it online with overnight shipping.

If you feel like driving around looking for one, luck will need to be on your side becuase supplies are limited.
