"I don't care how good the game is, I don't want to play something that's one hundred hours long," says Silicon Knights president Denis Dyack. He says that gamers don't want games like Legacy of Kain, which had around 60 hours of gameplay. Instead, he says gamers now want shorter games, split into self-contained chunks if it's something epic like Too Human.

So, do we want shorter games? Shorter games are great, if they have replay value that is. No matter how good a game is, if it only lasts me two hours after having spent $50 on it, I won't be too happy.
