E3 2007: Haze Details

Sony showcased Haze as one of the key titles at its E3 press conference, and with good reason, as the game is certainly looking impressive and has some unique gameplay elements to boot.

Up until now, there have been rumors surrounding the title's gameplay and exclusivity. We're happy to shed light on both of these rumors. First, Haze is figuratively two games in one. Players will start off using the high-tech Mantel suit and weaponry, playing in commando style to get a feel of the game's mechanics. But once you switch sides and join The Promise Hand, otherwise known as the rebels, you'll have to play tactically and choose your decisions wisely.

Second is a rumor regarding Haze's console exclusivity. The development team has confirmed that Haze will indeed be a PlayStation 3 exclusive, even though the game was originally announced as a multi-platform title.

The development team is keeping a lid on the final plot twist, so there's still some things we have yet to know about Haze. But so far, the title sounds very intriguing and should be a welcoming addition to the PlayStation 3's 2007 lineup. Check out our image gallery for the all-new E3 screenshots.
