At its E3 press conference today, Konami showcased Silent Hill 5 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The teaser itself lacks gameplay footage, but does give us some insight on the story. Much like Silent Hill Origins for PSP, development has been farmed out to a Western studio.
The Collective will be developing the fifth installment in the horror series, responsible for games such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure. Let's hope it turns out well. The first in-game screenshots can be viewed after the jump.
