Electronic Arts today announced that it is once again teaming up with famed director Steven Spielberg for Boom Blox Bash Party. According to a press release sent out this morning, the game will feature over 400 puzzle-oriented levels set in a variety of locales ranging from outer space to underwater environments.[blockquote2]“BOOM BLOX Bash Party is a wild social gaming experience,” said Steven Spielberg. “We know families and friends really enjoyed playing the original BOOM BLOX together, so we designed more explosive multiplayer experiences with BOOM BLOX Bash Party.”[/blockquote2]Apart from a new cast of characters, Bash Party will feature online connectivity, allowing players to link up and download additional EA-developed levels or even creations made by other Boom Blox fans.
Boom Blox Bash Party is slated for a spring 2009 release exclusively on Wii.
