Wii owners -- get ready to rock. Harmonix and its parent company MTV today announced that Rock Band will hit Nintendo's Wii on June 22 for an MSRP of $169.
Much like the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 release before it, Rock Band for Wii will ship in a special edition bundle pack which includes the software, drums, microphone and a single wireless guitar. Standalone peripherals for the Wii version will also be made available on June 22. The game itself will feature 63 songs in total, five of which are "bonus songs" for the Wii release.
