Electronic Arts today released details on an all-new car customization feature set to appear in the 2009 edition of its NASCAR video game franchise, which is due out June 10 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The feature, aptly dubbed "Paint Booth," will allow players to download a car template from the EA Sports website and import it into an image editing program, such as Photoshop for example. From there, you can customize the template however you see fit, and then upload the finished design into the game.
According to EA, players will be able to race using custom skinned cars not only in the single player aspect of the game, but also when racing against others online. Look past the jump for a selection of new screenshots showcasing the Paint Booth feature.
