It's finally happening: Earthbound will soon be available on the Wii U Virtual Console service. Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata made the huge reveal during yesterday's Nintendo Direct presentation, in the process causing longtime fans to geek out uncontrollably.

Earthbound enthusiasts have been begging for a Virtual Console release of the famed cult classic, but up until now it seemed as though that was nothing more than a pipe dream.

Yes please. They mentioned GBA games will becoming to Wii U VC. I wonder if this also means there is a possibility of getting Mother 1-3 for GBA VC (parts 1 and 3 respectively needing to be translated)
