But tl;dr: Their achievements system is still in development and we're waiting for API access.
As far as I'm aware, achievements support right now is limited to a small number of games and can only be accessed by looking through your overlay after opening the game, there's no public profile page available.

So I would really hunker down as Epic seems to have stopped all new features or working on their store since their stunt with apple and the battle. I would have thought full on Achievements would have rolled out months ago but they have been silent on that and any other subjects.

I was just browsing their Trello site (https://trello.com/c/apfJsxbA/30-achievements) and noticed a comment from last Thursday in Achievements section saying "Tooling for developers for configuring their game achievements is nearing completion." so maybe it's a matter of a few weeks before they introdue full achivement support (with public API) for all games available on EGS?
Currently it's the only feature I really care about. Anyway, the good thing is that they did not forget about this feature.

A little bit of necro bump, just because this threat is No.1 result from google search.
Epic added achievements, they are working on the EOS API, not sure if Exophase staff is informed. However few devs (not from EP) complained about bugs, so if aware I am guessing they are postponing the integration?

We added tracking for new achievements lists for the games themselves (https://www.exophase.com/platform/epic/) but player data is not public still. The API you mentioned only gives game developers access to query achievements for their own game.
GOG has access to a special API that utilizes the Epic sign-in, but I don't know if they can pull the achievement data either. Guessing not, if they haven't implemented support yet.
However, they plan on adding public profiles to EGS soon and we'll definitely be able to track them when that happens.
