Remember Final Fantasy IV: The After? No? Developed for mobile cellphones and released in Japan, it was a sequel set 17 years after the events which took place in the original game.
As a result of the odd platform choice, many of us were slowly beginning to lose hope that it would ever be released overseas. But that's all changed now, as Square Enix has plans to bring the game over to Wii. It's been rated by the ESRB and given the title Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. The original mobile effort was released as a series of episodes, meaning this one is highly likely to be a WiiWare candidate.
Now, Square Enix hasn't said anything official on the matter yet, so at worst this could all be a mistake on the ESRB's part. Highly unlikely though. Expect an announcement soon.
