Okay I've made up my mind. I'll Start playing ff series (yes cheezeball99 i did)
so the only console i have is psp and gbasp.

what do you recommend me to play?
ff9? 10? tactics?

the only thing i know about ff series this that "its called final fantasy" so i'll start learn to play it.

well,i'd recommend pretty much any of them.
ff1 is just awesome...i have the gba remake (actually in cart form as well...rare thing for me. :P )

ff6 you could get for the psone even though it was a snes game.ff7 is essential i think even though the graphics could get annoying for someone used to modern realistic graphics. you just have to remember that it is a 10 year old game now.

a good ff game that seems to split a lot of peoples opinions is ff10. i really enjoyed it but others seem to get really annoyed by it.

the worst ff game i have played was ff4....it was just odd for me....i couldnt get into it the same as the others.
 
I have played a lot of FF games, and I must advise you, From FFX above, they lost the "je ne seis quoi" they had that kept me playing...

But if you want a FF to play, start with FF6/3 and 5 for the SNES =D

and THEN 7, 8 and finally 9 which you can play in POPS =D
 
just a warning as well...these games WILL eat up your time....the first ff took me 20 hours first time through....ff7 takes about 25 hours average or so to end of story....and other ff's average about 40 hours for me first time through.


thats without getting to level 99 and getting best equipment and stuff.
 
No he didnt MAKE me play them. We were just alking and we got onto the subject of me not playing games on the older systems like nes and snes. So h erecommended some to me
 
i like the ff7 for real though.. well for me its the best ff game series there is.. i cant wait for dissidia though ehehehe >.<
 
I personally like FF X (10), its for the PS2 only, ~correct me if i'm wrong~ I bought it for $20 CND, so its cheap, just dont buy FF X-2, it sucked.
 
Hey how do you change discs? I usually quit the game, then change the game and save ID of my next disc and play it but for some reason that doesn't work for me between FF7 disc 2 and 3.
 
The Final Fantasy series is awesome, dudes. Heh, I actually went through Dawn of Souls FF1 with JUST ONE Red Mage, called him 'The Red Storm'. LMAO. My next plan is to go through with just a Black Mage, then JUST a White Mage. Just haven't gotten my patience up enough to do it.

howd you choose just one character?....or did you allow the other three to die?...guess that would make more sense....

Got into the first battle and made everyone fistfight the goblins, with the Red Mage defending. :biggrin: Needless to say it didn't end well for the Fighter, Thief and White Mage.:p They all have 0 XP.
