ff6 blues...

firstly i tried playing ff6 on SNES9x TYL....and it ran kinda slow....definately wasnt playable for me....

but after playing on gPSP for a while i thought "why not get the gba version,it has more stuff in it anyways".so i did....but gPSP was having trouble with it with the graphics being messed up....like flipped about and cut in half and stuff....then going into the first battle,it froze on a black screen.. :(

i thought maybe it was a bad rom dump but i tried it on vba and it worked fine there.....

so seems i can play ff6 on my psp just yet :(

in TYL you should set cpu clock to 333 and frameskip to auto. its still not the best, but playable (I think).

and yeah gpsp currently has a problem with FF6 :(

tried setting it to 333mhz......really wish i knew more of coding.....since SNES9x TYL isnt been worked on anymore would of wanted to try working on it.....meh,ah well :)

I have a possible solution to your problem, I believe that a GBA version of 6 has been released, try that with a GBA Emulator.

yea,it was and i've tried it but the textures are messed up when i play it on the gba emulator

like the texture for the ground would be cut in half and reversed.....its just how the emulator handles the game atm....also when it goes into a battle,it freezes on a black screen....ah well

It was worth a shot. You could always try the PS1 version, I would have mentioned that one first, but I forgot about it.

It's part of either Final Fantasy Anthology or Final Fantasy Chronicles, I can never remember which is which.

ahhh FF6

Such a great game. Truly deserving of a full remake...not these re-relases with a few extras:confused:
