Ubisoft's captivating god-sim From Dust is off to a sound start, with the publisher proclaiming today that it has broken digital sales records for the company. First day sales eclipsed all previous Ubisoft offerings to date on XBLA.

I queued up the demo of this on my Xbox 360 and totally forgot about it. Definitely looks like an interesting title amidst this dry summer.

Am I the only one who doesnt think this a dry summer? I mean we had ms.splosion man,Catherine,alice madness returns,Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet,Bastion, SSF4 arcade. I feel I had a stedy flow of games to play this summer.

Out of all those game, Ms. Splosion Man is the only interests me but not enough to where I bought it. My xbox gets turned on for an hour a day and my ps3 is being used only because I just got demons souls.

Can't wait for the holiday season though.
 
I totally feel that the summer is poor for new games. From Dust stands out because of that. Ehh, I guess that's what older undiscovered gems are for :P
