Hi! Another quick note regarding game images 🙂

Image corrections requested:

Balatro (Switch 2)
Please use the same image as the Switch version.
The current Switch 2 image isn’t properly centered and the title gets cut off.

Vampire Survivors (Google Play)
It would be great if the same image used on Switch could be applied here as well, for consistency.

Hollow Knight: Silksong
The image could be updated to match the Xbox version, for example — that one looks properly framed and clean.

That should fix all the image-related issues I noticed.

Hi! Quick note about the Overwatch images 🙂

Right now, the images used for Overwatch across the different platforms show the Overwatch 2 logo/art.

Since these entries are listed as Overwatch (the original game), it would probably make more sense to use an image that actually corresponds to Overwatch, not Overwatch 2.

So basically, it might be worth updating the images to ones that show the original Overwatch branding instead.

Hey thanks, super appreciate the help. I just wanted to point out (to everyone) it's best to make sure the logo is the primary focus of these icons as they appear quite small on the site so if the logo only fills a sixth of the image it will barely be readable. Ideally they usually want to fill half of the image or more, or even just be the logo on a simple background. Don't worry so much about squeezing the artwork in, these little icons don't need to replicate the entire box art. Also try to make sure the logo matches the game title, you may not have noticed but that Sonic Colors image you posted is using the British spelling of Colours.

Looks like people are using SteamGridDB to source a lot of the images in here which are often ideal, that's where I grabbed most of these from, just go through all the pages of grid images over there to find the one that fits best. Sometimes just cropping directly from box art may be better.

Not trying to discourage anyone, just try to remember Logo > Artwork, but of course any image is better than no image at all, we can always swap in better ones later, thanks!
 
I'd like to request to swap the PS5 icons of Code Vein II (to PS4 counterpart) and Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles (to Xbox / Switch counterpart), they're squished, other versions look okay. Phantom Fury PS5 is also distorted.

For ones I can't find a better alternative, it's okay to create new ones?

(One monumental task that I'd like to see is cleaning up the entire Ultima series, the GOG logos would be mostly fine for all versions - NES, Master System, etc, but not sure.)
