Gaming Game Industry Pioneer Hiroshi Yamauchi Passes Away

This morning, Nintendo confirmed that company legend and video game industry pioneer Hiroshi Yamauchi had passed away. As reported on BBC, he died at the age of 85 after battling pneumonia, and his funeral is set to take place this Sunday.

Yamauchi took over Nintendo in 1949 after his grandfather suffered a stroke.
