English may not be your first language but that does not mean you dont have to make an effort to construct a half decent post...
 
i doubt the game could even do that, it's more likly whomever your client was, was doing something he shouldn't have

@eldiablov no reason to get worked up over his english skills, i'd like to see you compose a coherent sentence in Japanese, Spanish, German, French, or any foreign language where u have limited knowledge of, at the very least he's trying
 
I second sliver4ever. I mean he is a client. He doesn't want to pay money when he can just make up a silly excuse placing the blame all on you.

Anyways, you said that "psp 3000 or psp 2000 v3" bricks because of the game. Also you said clients in plural, so they all say to you the same thing? It might be unintentional though, like corrupt Flash1 which can be solved by holding this combo on first boot:
"Square + Triangle + Select + start"

There is *NO WAY* a game can brick a PSP, Absolutely NO WAY.
Games run strictly in usermode and there is NO WAY the flash can be borked up from usermode.

SCE is making NO EXCUSES on that.

i'd say that's a bit harsh, he never said he claimed people's work, all he sounds like he does is offer his service of enabling homebrew on psp's to people whom don't want to do it themselves, i see no problem charging someone for doing something the person doesn't want to take the time to learn themselves

Davee made it Open Source :D Nah, but you wouldn't expect it to just to compile without doctoring it up a bit. Besides the main eboot and prx, there really isn't much to reverse, since its basically just GEN.

I do see a problem with that. HEN was made to be freely distributed and people who charge for HEN or Pandora or whatever just get smacked around with an i-beam. If he really wanted to help he could have installed HEN for free.

Ontopic: I second Hellcat. There is no way that the PSP would brick because of ANY game. The guy most likely messed around with the flash0.

so you see it ok that he takes time out of his day to go and get homebrew running on people's psp's because their too lazy to do it themselves, yea ok, let me just go build some houses for free because the home owners are too lazy to learn how to build a house themselves, makes perfect sense

Your argument makes no sense. It takes less than 5min to HEN a PSP, it takes months to build house. I don't see where you are trying to get? Nothing justifies the extortion the guy is doing.
