Gameboot flasher (works on psp-300x!)

Hey ya, im posting here a gameboot flasher for all psp's (Using Hen and CFW), including the 3k (3000).

INSTRUCIONS:

1. Unzip the Gameboot flasher to your HomeBrews directory.

2. Inside the Root Folder of your GameBoot Flasher, unzip a gameboot (just one).

3. Now, start your homebrew that will flash the GameBoot.

4. Press the button for flashing the "PSP GAMEBOOT" AND NOT THE "SONY GAMEBOOT"

5. After completing, it will ask you to shut down your PSP. So, just shut it down.

6. Be happy with your new GameBoot. :)

PS: I flashed my PSP with a sword and blood game boot. It Worked really fine :D!


WARNING: SOME GAMEBOOT MAY BE CORRUPTED. AND WHEN YOU INTALL IT, IT DOESNT START ANY GAME OR HOMEBREW, IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY SHUT DOWN YOUR PSP.SOME GAMEBOOTS MAY DISABLE YOUR HEN.

IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG


. pass another gameboot to the root folder of the GamebootFlasher Homebrew.
. go to GameBoot Flasher in memory stick but don't press X
. hold down the screen brightness button until screen is off
. Press X
. Wait a while (6-10 sceonds)
. press screen brightness again to turn screen on
. Install the other gameboot
. be Happy :3

Is there any way to know in advance if a gameboot is corrupted ? If not , how can we replace it with another one that works ( to be able to launch games again ) ? Thanks
 
If you are unsure as to whether you want to flash a gameboot, don't do it. To be honest, it's not worth the risk should something go wrong.

Yep, I got gameboots working (flashed 10 diferent ones so far with no brick on a 3k)

whenever its not working.
try too retore system settings.

go to configuration , system settings, and restore system settings

after sdjusting PSP NAME, and Date, try loading ur ChickHEN R2 :D !

Well, at least it works for me.

PS: u cannot use any wallpapper

Ive read up alot chickHEN R2. Im sure ive done it right an most other people are saying that it doesnt work for the 3k, but just in case ive ben doing it wrong, these are the steps ive pieced together from intructions and different forums:

1. Install OFW 5.03
2. Restore system settings
3. Format memory stick
4. Download ChickHENMod.zip
5. Extract ChickHENa.gif, ChickHENb.gif, ChickHENc.gif, ChickHENd.gif, and slim_mod.tiff to "ms0:\PICTURE\ChickHEN Mod\" OR "ms0:\PSP\PHOTO\ChickHEN Mod\"
6. Extract h.bin to "ms0:\"
7. Turn on the PSP and go to Photos, down to Memory Stick and press X
8. Wait for the egg image to load in the ChickHEN Mod square.
9. When it's loaded press X (no need for timing here)
10. DO NOTHING MORE, JUST WAIT

This is where the PSP is supposed to hang for a moment and restart into HEN mode, but on my PSP, (and all 3k's i thought), the unit never restarts. It just powers off. It never enters HEN mode.
