gameboot question

i saw people changing cintro (the gameboot) customized on 3.40OE-A. i was wondering if i could do the same thing on 3.03OE-C.(too many steps to customize XMB on 3.40, that's why i stick with 3.03) anyways is there a way to change it? no matter if i have to flash it or not

just try replacing the gameboot file inside flash0 but make sure you back up your files before
