After the Impulse buyout last March, yet another digital distribution service has changed hands. Video game rental service GameFly today announced its acquisition of IGN's Direct2Drive (D2D). As part of the deal, GameFly will add an expansive list of over 3,000 PC and Mac titles for digital download, backed by its comprehensive rental catalog.
No immediate changes to either service are planned in the near future, however.
