Gamers are "likely" drunks and druggies.

Dam Straight, now gimme a new Rapidshare account!!!!

I would gladly game while drunk but I need to first get my fucking ps3 out of my house and into my dorm room here - it's happening next week when I go home. btw, I don't smoke or do drugs so that's out of the question. Drinking only

well currently im your boat slasher, i had to stop doing drugs to maintain a place to live in and to play video games. So im drug free, but i get drunk, not a lot, but i do! So thats what i do sometimes, last game i played drunk was Call of Duty World at War, it was great.

Good for you man, keep it up lol :p

The last game I played drunk was last night at some random house party kegger and it was COD4. I totally destroyed all the noobs and I was plastered beyond belief. Party on

i applaude you two for being able to do that great self control. ive never drank because i never wanted to, but smoking has intrigued me i quit though so i guess its all good now lol

good for you on the quitting the smoking, it seems to me that the place i live in, Palm Bay, its like the Bane of everyones existence, they cant live without the shit. I can, and will.

"Self Control"?

I (and I'm sure most people in this topic) only drink/smoke because I get enjoyment out of it, not because I can't help myslef.

that personally is the reason i don't do it, i don't view having a good time requires being drunk or smoking, or doing drugs, it's only a state of mind imo

Having a good time has no relationship with getting drunk/smoking.

I smoke partly because I'm addicted but mostly because I enjoy it. I can quit anytime I want to as I did last year for 4 months. And I can go out and drink coke and have just as good a time as if I was drinking alcohol.

It's a choice, nothing to do with self control.

i wasnt implying that everyone on here was a slave to what they did. i used to smoke herb and i know once i quit it was hard to say no to people when they asked. it took self control to stop because i figured even though it was fun that it would help me in the long run. Many people dont have problems with what they do and thats none of my concern, but what i was saying is that to never have done any (tis asssuming theres peer pressure) is a hard thing and is a choice, but there is an amount of self control thats needed to resist

Hardly. It's easy to say no to something that you've never experienced.

Eg:

Q. Want to lick my scrotum?
A. No thanks.

Very easy. You don't know what it'll be like if you've never done it but you still say no.

You got a +1 in my book dude.

/me definitely doesn't fit into that scheme....

Well, honestly, I don't THAT much at the moment, but that's mostly due to lack of time (one cause are my social contacts :p ).
While I still consider myself a gamer, I only drink rarely and when I do not "until coma".... also no drugs for me....

Am I uncool now?

well imo licking a scrotum and smoking bud is totally different. and for me i didnt have the self control because when i was asked the first time i knew i shouldnt, but from what other people had said i couldnt not test it out yeah its slightly some peer pressure, but my experience it was more about self control. thats all im saying

No one pressured me into trying anything though. I decided to try things by choice and decided if I liked them or not from there. I knew all the risks and dangers associated with certain things I've tried and made sure I knew what I was doing.
